Alaska has been nicknamed America’s “Last Frontier.” And rightly so; for our largest state has only a few persons per square mile, making it a perfect place to enjoy the wilderness. Ten great hiking trails will be discussed here.
(1) Deer Mountain Trail, Ketchikan, is in the far southeastern corner of the state, in Tongass National Forest. It leads up 3,000-foot Deer Mountain.

There are a lot of great family-friendly attractions in Alaska. The first attraction is the Santa Claus House. The Santa Claus House is in North Pole, Alaska.
